Strike II is an all-male student dance group from The Urdang Academy, London. This incredibly energetic group of performers, established in 2007, bring their own twist and style to Hip Hop theatre. Strike II aims to educate and inspire audiences through fusing concepts of dance with street culture, as well as showing off their skills and talent.
Working alongside Verse, a recognised Hip Hop poet from the US, Out of The Box is a creative take on the exploration and dialogue between dance forms as well as creating new and inventive choreography such as flowtemporary and poetic tap. Audiences will be encouraged to think outside the box, what box? The six sided box that Strike II are breaking, to show you how Hip Hop theatre can be united with the more traditional dance forms.
